Virtually all (98-100%) of the ingredients in Blooming Naturals skincare and wellness products are whole plant extracts. Instead of using hybridised or isolated components of plants, we study and apply natural synergy, in which mutually-enhancing (or moderating) whole plant ingredients are blended for maximum benefit to your body. These ingredients are used in their natural state, which is how our bodies can best absorb and make use of them.

We do not use ingredients derived from animals (with the exception of beeswax) and do not use any ingredient that has needed to be tested on animals. Neither do we use over-processed and over-refined plant ingredients.

We believe that the more a natural product is refined or processed the further it gets from its natural state and the more it loses its vitality and ability to benefit our bodies. (This is as true of skincare products and medicines as it is of food, water and air).

Blooming Naturals products also benefit you by being free from the constraints of mass production common to most skincare and cosmetic brands. Such constraints include the necessity for synthetic preservatives and 'filler' ingredients that may be good for reducing the manufacturer's costs, but of no use to your skin.

Mass production also has a massive carbon footprint, requiring much financial and energy expenditure on outer packaging, storage, distribution and marketing. All this can only be achieved by unsustainable use of the Earth's resources and so causes a negative impact on the planet out of all proportion to the end benefit.
